Every trip

When I first bought a Tesla, nearly 6 years ago now, I was surprised that fellow Tesla drivers waved to each other – we were clearly a band of brothers. As Tesla ownership became more common, this behaviour has now largely disappeared.

It turns out that Motorhome drivers have a similar camaraderie. “Why have they just waved at us” was our initial reaction, but we soon realised that this was the done thing and Nikki gleefully waves at every passer-by. I, on the other hand, find myself torn between  giving a one or two finger salute.

Tour of Scottish Coast

Nikki calls this our big adventure. The original plan was to take 3 months and do the coast of England, Scotland and Wales.  But, we’ve reigned ourselves in a bit, and decided to start with just Scotland.

While Steve’s idea was to hire a 2-seater convertible sports car, with Nikki doing a Grace Kelly impression, going from hotel to hotel, Nikki’s dream was to do this in a motorhome.  A motorhome it is then!

These are the stories of our 4 week tour.
